Claudine came to the orphange a couple months ago. She is blind from cataracts and was dying of starvation. Doctor Peter from Sweden brought her to the orphanage because he knew that she could gain strength there and then be able to have the surgery to remove the cataracts. Claudine would be able to have a normal life! She now is much stronger and responds to voices and touch. The Mamas that take care of her have done a wonderful job in loving her back to health. Dr. Peter will be coming tonight to see her and to talk about how soon the surgery can take place.Monday, June 1, 2009

I want to scoop her up and help her! I'm happy she can get her surgery soon and go on to live a normal life. She'll have quite the story to tell one day when she's grown!
