We traveled to Nyanza to where the Rwanda king lived. Now they have a president. But the history of the King was very interesting. His assasination was one of the key factors in the genocide. This picture is of the traditional King's hut used back before 1960. It was interesting going on a tour through these huts. They were primative and yet very nice inside. A huge bed for the king, along with the ability to smoke out misquotos with a fire in the middle.Tuesday, June 2, 2009
